HELP OUR CAMPAIGN TO BECOME FA CHARITY OF THE YEAR 2011
After our most successful season to date, Show Racism the Red card is lobbyng to become the FA's Charity of the Year. Later this year the FA will decide which charity will become their official charity partner for 2011. All charities go through a stringent process to become official FA partners and as well as a financial donation from the FA's Community Shield Fund, all charities will benefit from a direct association with the FA. This can only strengthen our campaign and our work to educate against the dangers of racism. If we receive this funding it will help us to carry out our anti-racist educational work across the UK.

W have been lobbying football clubs, professional footballers and politicians to back our bid, some of the messages can be read on our web site: www.theredcard.org/news/neas-and-events?news=1344

An Early Day Motion (607) was raised in parliament where MP's could sign up and support the bid,; we would like you to encourage your local MP to sign the motion.

To find out who is your MP and to send them an email please visit http://www.writetothem.com/ and copy and paste the letter below into the text box.
